Check 1 — Is the track record public and live?
The single biggest filter. A trustworthy provider publishes every signal's outcome to a dashboard that updates in real time as trades close. You can scroll back through historical signals, see the ones that lost, and verify the win rate yourself.
Anything else — PDF reports, monthly summaries, Telegram screenshots — is editable and unverifiable. Our live dashboard shows the rolling 30-day win rate, accuracy, average pips, and total pips, all generated automatically from resolved trades.
Check 2 — Does every signal have a stop loss?
If a signal arrives with no stop loss, walk away. A provider that won't define their risk is asking you to absorb unlimited downside on their behalf. Worse, "no stop loss" services usually claim very high win rates — because losing trades are simply held until they recover (or wipe the account).

Check 3 — Is the methodology explained?
You don't need the source code, but you should be told what kind of system you're following: trend-following, mean-reversion, news-reactive, manual analyst, AI-driven. Each has different drawdown profiles. A vague "secret proprietary system" is a red flag.

Check 4 — Is there a low-friction way to validate?
You should be able to trial the service before committing serious capital. A free tier (even with delayed delivery) or a $1 trial month is enough to validate 20–30 trades on demo.

Check 5 — Is the pricing reasonable?
The honest market for retail signals is $10–$100/month. Anything above $200/month should offer institutional-grade backtesting and verifiable results. Anything "free" usually monetises through broker rebates — you pay in spread instead of subscription.
